This colorful wedding was on a blistering hot day in August inspired by garden parties of the past with mismatched linens and napkins from gingham to floral decals, wicker place matts, parasols, and wicker baskets filled with organic wildflowers. The entire setting took place outside on a park on the Cheney Mansion grounds in Oak Park, Illinois. The ceremony was held under an old oak tree, the cocktail hour and dancing at the mansions patio and the dinner outside on the grounds under a vintage tent (with lots of fans!)
